Stephen Hart Retires After 25 Years
After nearly 25 years as Managing Director of North Western Lead, Stephen Hart has decided that it is time to retire and to spend more time with his family. Stephen Porter who was the Production Director, will now step up to take the reins as the new Managing Director, to guide the company forward into the future, to explore new markets and to continue the new product development which has meant so much to the company in the past.
Stepping down is not easy for Stephen Hart. “I have really enjoyed my time at NWL, visiting customers and suppliers all over the world, but I just feel that the time is right to hand over to Stephen Porter. He knows the business inside out, and is keen to make progress and will be a great leader, of that I have no doubt. Not only is he an expert on the latest production techniques, he is also very customer oriented, keen to provide exactly what they need.”
Stephen Porter has already been with the company for over 30 years, starting as an apprentice straight from school, working his way upwards with quiet determination . Now, he is looking forward to the challenges which lay ahead. “I know where I want to take this company,” he said, “and I have a great team around me who will help me to achieve my aims.”
The future looks bright for NWL!
