North Western Lead are once again exhibiting at Glasstec 2014 in Düsseldorf from 21st – 24th October. Our stand is D18 in Hall 9 and we are looking forward to meeting you on the stand.
We hope that you will find the stand impressive, with many new designs shown. As well as our normal lead products, we will also be showing Rustic Iron and Rustic Copper. Who knows, there may even be a new coloured lead to launch at the show!
You will see Decra Glow Film, Rainbow Film and Spectrum Film, along with Decra Bevels and Decra Fused Tiles, but of special interest will be the single strand 3mm lead we are now launching.
In the past, 3mm lead has always been produced as a twin strand product, meaning that, before application, the two strands must be separated. This takes time and, occasionally, when the strands were separated, instead of 2 x 3mm strands, you got a 2mm strand and a 4mm strand. That has been confined to the past by our new cutting technology, and as you can see from the photograph, 3mm lead can be used in very intricate designs. 3mm single strand is quicker to use and more accurately cut to make it easier for you to create impressive decorative glass. It’s available in natural lead, Brass, Antique, Platinum and Jet lead (special colours on request).
As well as new products, throughout the Glasstec show, there will be continuous demonstrations on the stand of the application of our products. You will see lead, film, bevels and fused tiles being applied to glass.
So come to Glasstec 2014 and come and see us. We would love to meet you!Read more
